The Seattle SuperHawks bring affordable, family-friendly, professional basketball and entertainment
to the local community while providing our players with the opportunity to continue to
develop professionally both on and off the court.

JACQUELINE YANG

TEAM OWNER & PRESIDENT

Seattle native Jacqueline, the first female Asian owner of a men’s professional basketball team, has brought the men’s professional basketball scene back to the Puget Sound region. Jacqueline aims to showcase the immense talent of the team while providing the players with opportunities to develop professionally both within and outside of the sport.

PIERRE CROCKRELL

TEAM OWNER

Tacoma native and former professional track & field athlete, Pierre Crockrell Sr. is co-owner of the Seattle SuperHawks with Jacqueline Yang. A sports agent with Forum Group Sports Management, Pierre is a University of Washington and Lincoln High School alumnus.

J.R. HARRIS

GENERAL MANAGER

Long-time basketball agent and manager J.R. Harris was a partner at Marshall Harris Sports Management (1991-2008) and Premier Sports International (2008-2013). J.R. managed top-talent players including Clifford Robinson, Doug Christie, Anthony Peeler, and Yinka Dare and has decades of experience in contract negotiation, marketing, and identifying NBA prospects.

PIERRE CROCKRELL II

ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

Pierre is a current professional basketball player and recent graduate from UC Irvine where he finished his Division 1 college basketball career earning his degree in communications, following 3 years playing basketball at The University of the Pacific. Prior to that, Pierre helped lead his team Garfield High School to a state championship in 2018.

TERRY JONES

HEAD COACH

Terry began his basketball career as an All-Metro standout at Rainier Beach High School followed by Seattle Central under coach Al Hairston, where he achieved NWAAC First Team, JuCo All-American honors, and won the NWAAC Championship in 1977. He continued on to play at Henderson State University, and continued on the international stage, averaging 30 points per game in the World Games and a successful four seasons in Brazil. Off the court, Jones had a 30-year career with Nordstrom, where he was a million-dollar seller. He has also contributed as a coach in Seattle, mentoring players and shaping the next generation of talent.

CRAIG JACKSON

ASSISTANT COACH

Craig Jackson, a Seattle native, was the Boys Basketball Head Coach at Franklin High School for 10 seasons after 13 seasons as an Assistant Coach and one season as Head Girls Coach at Garfield. He contributed to four State Championships—three at Franklin (2003, 2006, 2009) and one as a player in 1982 at Roosevelt High School, where he earned League MVP and All-State honors. He played collegiate basketball at Green River Community College and Langston University in Oklahoma, where he also ran track. Craig is currently the Instructional Aid at Franklin High School and is pursuing a Masters in Education at the University of Washington.

ALEX MONTGOMERY

ASSISTANT COACH

Tacoma native Alex attended Lincoln High School before playing at the collegiate level for Georgia Tech, where she studied Science Technology and Culture. Alex was selected in the first round (10th overall pick) of the 2011 WNBA draft by the New York Liberty. She also played for the WNBA San Antonio Stars, Chicago Sky, and overseas in France, Brazil, and Israel. Alex has coached at Excel Sports Academy, AAU teams Alex Montgomery Academy and Team Walton, was Head Coach for Steilacoom High School, and is currently Head Coach of Annie Wright Schools Girl’s Basketball team. Alex values giving back and being a positive role model for the youth and community, helping individuals build their confidence on and off the court.

OLDEN POLYNICE

VP OF BASKETBALL OPERATIONS

Olden had a 15-year NBA career as well as a successful coaching and training career and brings a wealth of knowledge to players of all levels. He attended the University of Virginia, played professional basketball in Italy, was the 8th overall pick in the 1987 NBA draft, and played for the Seattle Supersonics, Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings and the Detroit Pistons. Olden runs a basketball training company, NextStar Basketball, has served as Assistant Coach for the Michigan Mayhem of the CBA, New Orleans Hornets summer league, and Head Coach of the Long Beach Breakers of the ABA. Polynice provides leadership and mentorship to players by being an excellent communicator and his ability to scout and develop talent.

CAMERON COLLINS

GM OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS

Cameron is a renowned sports executive with strategic expertise in the sports industry. Holding a J.D. from Seattle University with a focus on civil rights and entertainment law, and degrees in History, French & Francophone Studies, and Political Science from Santa Clara University, Collins has effectively transitioned from entertainment and academia to sports management. His passion for Seattle and significant contributions to the growth of soccer and basketball have made him a pivotal figure in the industry. A dedicated Seattle Sounders supporter, Collins was named Sounders Fan of the Year in 2021, highlighting his engagement with the community and soccer fans.

BRENNA MCCORMICK

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Born and raised in Seattle, Brenna has always been involved with the local sports community, competing as a sprinter in track at a high level for Seattle Speed Track Club while attending Seattle Academy. Brenna continued on to attend Boston College, where she graduated from the Business School with a major in General Management and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. Brenna managed two SoulCycle Boston-based studios, working with staff, instructors, and riders to build a strong community and driving studio profitability.

NIC BECKMAN

SUPERHAWKS ANNOUNCER

Nic is a seasoned sports broadcaster with over 35 years of experience in remote sports production. With a deep-rooted passion for basketball, he has worked across the NBA, NFL, MLB, MLS, WNBA, NCAA, and combat sports, refining his expertise in live event coverage. As a public address announcer, play-by-play analyst, ring announcer, and emcee, he has called over 3,500 live events. Currently in his 14th season as the public address voice for NCAA D1 Seattle University and entering his 2nd season as the play-by-play commentator for the TBL Seattle SuperHawks, Nic continues to bring unmatched enthusiasm and insight to the game!

ANTHONY HOPKINS

SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR & GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Meet Anthony, a Seattle native and the creative mind behind SUPERHAWKS. Inspired by the Seattle SuperSonics, he brings expertise in web development and design, social media, UX/UI, and graphic design. A University of Washington graduate in Interactive Media Design with a minor in IT. Anthony’s career spans roles within web development and graphic design at high-tech companies providing top quality software for customres like NASA and Ferrari, where he contributed, lead innovative projects to help increase their prescnece online across the world. Now with SUPERHAWKS, he has transformed the team’s digital presence, from designing jerseys to enhancing their online platform.

Introducing John E, the maestro of video editing and photography who orchestrates the visual narrative for SUPERHAWKS. Residing in the heart of Seattle, John E brings a profound passion for basketball and a relentless dedication to amplifying the team’s digital footprint.

With a discerning eye for visual aesthetics and an in-depth comprehension of storytelling through images, John E curates compelling video edits and striking photographs that immerse fans in the world of SUPERHAWKS. From crafting captivating highlight reels to capturing the raw emotion of pivotal moments, John E plays a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of the team
