The Seattle SuperHawks secured a solid 122–108 road win over the Vancouver Volcanoes at Hudson’s Bay High School in Vancouver, WA, on March 30, 2025. Behind a balanced scoring effort and dominance on the boards, Seattle improved their early-season form in The Basketball League.
Nashon George led the SuperHawks with an impressive double-double, pouring in 29 points on 11-of-19 shooting while grabbing a game-high 18 rebounds. He was flanked by David Jenkins Jr., who tallied 26 points and drilled 5 three-pointers, and Theo Johnson, who added 22 points on a blistering 8-of-9 from the field.
Seattle’s offensive efficiency was on full display as they shot 50% from the floor and a scorching 48% from beyond the arc (12-of-25). Their defense and rebounding were equally effective, with the SuperHawks outrebounding Vancouver 61 to 45 and limiting the Volcanoes to just 26.7% from three.
Vancouver was paced by Jaylyn Richardson’s 36 points and 5 rebounds in 40 minutes, while Andre McCowan chipped in 29 points and 11 rebounds of his own. Despite those standout performances, the Volcanoes couldn’t overcome their struggles from deep or their defensive lapses.
Seattle also saw key contributions from Malik Montoya (12 points, 5 rebounds) and Armond Davis (11 points in just 14 minutes off the bench), showcasing their depth.
The SuperHawks’ team-oriented approach and dominance on the glass proved too much for Vancouver, who now face adjustments to stop their slide, while Seattle rides momentum into their next matchup.
