On March 22, 2025, the Seattle SuperHawks suffered their first loss of the season in a 116–104 defeat to the Wenatchee Bighorns at Wenatchee Valley College. Coming into the matchup unbeaten, Seattle faced a well-prepared and energized Bighorns squad that controlled the tempo and executed with precision throughout the night.
Wenatchee was led by a dominant performance from Brandon Watkins, who poured in 27 points on 11-of-12 shooting and added 12 rebounds in just 23 minutes. Chris Cromartie matched him with 27 points of his own, also contributing 12 rebounds and 6 assists. The Bighorns showcased their depth with balanced scoring, including 19 points apiece from Tavin Cummings and Nick Fleming. Fleming also quarterbacked the offense with 11 assists, helping Wenatchee to 26 total team assists.
Seattle struggled to find rhythm offensively despite strong individual efforts. David Jenkins Jr. led the SuperHawks with 20 points, knocking down 5-of-10 from three-point range and adding 5 assists. Elijah Hardy contributed 19 points and 8 rebounds, while Emeche Wells added 18 points on an efficient 7-of-11 shooting. Big man Nashon George posted a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds but was limited to 6-of-18 shooting from the field.
Turnovers proved costly for Seattle, who gave up the ball 22 times, leading to key fast-break opportunities for the Bighorns. The SuperHawks also struggled with efficiency, shooting just 40.7% from the field compared to Wenatchee’s 52.9%. While Seattle actually outshot Wenatchee from beyond the arc (40% to 37%), their defensive lapses and lack of transition containment ultimately sealed their fate.
The loss marked Seattle’s first stumble in the 2025 TBL season and provided a wake-up call as they look to regroup and refocus for the challenges ahead. Wenatchee, meanwhile, made a strong statement on their home court, handing the SuperHawks their first defeat with a commanding team performance.
