The game was a closely contested battle, with both teams showcasing exceptional performances. Seattle’s Nashon George led all scorers with 30 points and dominated the boards with 19 rebounds. Teammates Chayce Polynice and Theo Johnson contributed 16 and 15 points, respectively, with Johnson displaying remarkable shooting accuracy at 85.7%. On the Salem side, Preston Whitfield was outstanding, scoring 32 points and achieving a 93.3% success rate from the free-throw line. Isaiah Gentry added 23 points, shooting 57.1% from the field and 50% from three-point range. Despite Salem’s higher three-point shooting percentage at 41.4%, Seattle’s superior rebounding (53 to Salem’s 38) and free-throw accuracy (89.3%) were pivotal in securing the win.
